The following rooms are available for hire, one or more at a time, with or without residential accommodation.

The Hearth (with use of kitchen if required)

The Hearth is a beautiful beamed room with a log fire in winter. It connects directly to the kitchen. It can be used as a meeting room or dining room. It can hold up to 25 people. The hiring charge is £25 per part day (morning, afternoon or evening) and includes use of the kitchen if required.

The Garden Room

This is in the spacious Georgian part of the house. It is a beautifully light room with windows at each end and French windows opening onto the garden. It also has limited cooking and tea making facilities, but is best used as a meeting room or an exhibition room. It will hold up to 25 people. The hiring charge is £25 for a part-day (morning, afternoon or evening)

The Sanctuary

This is the special room - the soul - of the house: a centre of peace and tranquillity. It is on the first floor in the medieval part: decorated and furnished in white with many dark wooden beams. This is free for Friends to use for meditation. It can also be hired at £10 an hour by individuals or small groups for meditation and other forms of spiritual practice such as sacred dance, healing, therapy, spiritual development courses, music, yoga , qi gong...

Retreat River Room 1

This room is at the bottom of the garden. It has cooking facilities only. Shower and toilet facilities in the house are available. It can be hired for short periods only, mainly for individual retreats. Hire charges negotiable.

Retreat River Room 2

This very small room is also at the bottom of the garden and is really only suitable for individual day-time retreats or very simple short stay accommodation. There are no cooking facilities and all other services are provided in the house. Hire charges are negotiable.
